Meet Teena Garcia

I graduated with a Master of Science degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2001 and became registered as a psychologist in 2002.

Even though I have over 18 years of working with clients, I have not lost my passion and spark. What have you come here to learn about, focus on or need help with? Whatever it is, I like to take a team approach and am ready to walk with you on your journey. Some of my specialties include: helping people who experience anxiety and mood disorders (ie. depression and bipolar disorder), panic attacks and adult ADHD. I also have experience working with posttraumatic stress, both complex and single incident (ie. Motor vehicle accidents and natural disasters).
I deal with couples experiencing various struggles with communication, problem-solving, intimacy, infidelity and possible separation/divorce. Other issues may include work performance, test anxiety, harassment, and bullying. If there is a presenting issue not listed on here, please feel free to contact me.
My priority with counseling is the therapeutic relationship. It is essential that you feel connected and heard. Once that is in place, the real work begins.

And remember, you have many strengths and solutions within that may go unnoticed during times of doubt.
